I like the conclusion about Gold. I think it’s quite sad that the Republican Party relies on somebody like Trump to promote their platform. They deserve much better (to be polite) and the fact that they don’t get it should be a cause of concern. Anyway, in my humble opinion please stay balanced to avoid losing readership.

Ivan, Thank you for the feedback. Like everyone else, I have my own likes and dislikes in politics. However, I tried not to bring my politics into this blog. If you feel there is anything in this post that is not fact-based, please point them out. Best
Great analysis David. It does look like the GOP will take the House, but probably not the Senate. (Republicans can thank Trump for urging Georgians to note vote in the 2 senate elections in GA in 2020. That worked out well for the GOP and the US!)🙃But, in politics as we know, a lot can happen in 2 months. One thing you’ve probably also read is that many of the perceived weaker Trump backed GOP primary candidates received both financial support and votes from Far Left Democrats because they are viewed as weaker general election opponents. Hi John, I know there has been a lot of discussion about the "quality" of the Trump-backed candidates. I find this a little amusing only because I don't remember the last time quality matters for politicians at elections. If quality indeed matters, how can we explain the longevity of politicians like Pelosi or McConnell. As long Trump backed candidates don't have any skeleton in their closets, I don't think voters won't care if they didn't got to Harvard Law School
Thanks David. Great write up with much food for thoughtSocial media is the best weapon of Russia and China. It’s free and it’s destroying the US from the inside

When social media becomes weaponized and politicized. Ask Zuckerburg how many billions he poured into the 2020 elections
Don't forget silver. Higher beta and higher % returns in last two major runs. The "crypto" of precious metals.

Excellent points David. Will you buying the actual metal or ETFs?
