Hi David,

Thank you for sharing your wife’s hope and concern for Ukraine deescalation, it’s definitely helpful for me to look at the situation from her point of view. Hope her family and friends in Ukraine are all safe and well.

Hi Danni; thank you for your message. They seem to be in reasonable spirits, although it could be dark humour. Yesterday I understand that they went to buy food at the grocery store, and while the queue was very long, the store was stocked. Again this seems to indicate restraint for now. They have told us many other things about how the fighting seems to be going on, but I think they might have been reading this on the web as opposed to hearing about it first hand so I wouldn't infer anything from it.
